Summer looks forward to seeing all her fans at both the Sydney and Perth shows and will be appearing each Saturday 10.30am to 5.30pm and each Sunday 11am to 5pm for autograph* and photo* sessions, with one public Q&A (Saturday) and one Whedonverse Exclusive Q&A (Sunday) per expo.

There is still no specifications available just yet other then the release date and that is September 6, 2010 and the price for it is £14.99 (RRP is £24.99). At this time as well there is no info on the blu-ray verison of season two.

The full length trailer for Summer’s new show The Cape has come online and yes you do get to see Summer in it.

We don’t get to see Orwell just yet but we do get a very nice action scene. If they can keep the production value at this high level throughout the series, this is going to be seriously awesome. Too bad we’ll have to wait for the premiere of the pilot until midseason. Here’s a picture of the cast and some more videos.

If you want to know more about the storyline of The Cape, here’s an excellent little synopsis.

“The Cape” stars David Lyons (“ER”)as an honest cop in a corrupt police force who finds himself framed for a series of murders and presumed dead. He is forced into hiding, which means leaving behind his wife and son.

Here’s where you’ll need to follow along closely: In order to clear his good name and return to the bosom of his family, Good Cop Guy decides to become his son’s favorite fictitious comic book superhero, The Cape.

Interesting strategy.

Keith David will play Max Malini, the ringleader of a “circus gang of bank robbers” who mentor Good Cop Guy and trains him to be The Cape, whose nemesis is a twisted killer who has the advantage of being a billionaire named Peter Fleming, which is so unfair. Then there’s this investigative blogger chick named Orwell – of course there is! She’s played by Summer Glau of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” fame. Throw in a couple good former detectives and you’ve got a series, from the production team of Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun who, once upon a time, ran the entertainment divisions of Fox and ABC, respectively.
