Dancing her way into our lives on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Summer Glau has been a staple of Joss Whedon related projects having also starred in Firefly, Serenity and Dollhouse.
As an action star Summer has also engaged audiences in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and more recently The Cape with a wonderful guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory to boot.
Summer was even the voice of ‘Supergirl/Kara’ recently in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
The only question is now, what next? We can hardly wait to find out.
Thankfully we get to see her again this April!

And the names just keep on coming for Joe Lynch’s upcoming horror/comedy/thriller Knights of Badassdom, and when we think badass chick, this latest addition more than fits the bill!
According to website Bleeding Cool Summer Glau has just signed up to join the previously announced Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, and Danny Pudi in the flick, which follows the exploits of a group of LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a big badass demon.
Spectral Motion, who created creatures and mutants for the Hellboy and X-Men franchises, will be handling the special effects duty so expect a lot from the plethora of demonic minions that are set to be unleashed.
Lynch will be shooting from a script penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall. Knights of Badassdom begins filming this July in Spokane, Washington.
Michael Ausiello is going to interview Summer tomorrow. Send him your question now, if you have one.
I’ll be spending some quality time with a few dozen of your favorite NBC stars tomorrow morning (complete list below), so send me your burning questions ASAP to ausielloscoop@ew.com. All I ask is that you put “NBC upfront Q” in the subject line.
Yes! This is awesome, I wish I could make the headline bigger. NBC has picked up The Cape. Summer Glau’s new show has been picked up!
NBC is going to look very different next season. The network has added another single-cam comedy to the pile: “Friends With Benefits” from 20th TV and Imagine and has given a series order to superhero drama “The Cape.”
